MW3 Killstreaks

There are 3 distinct killstreak tiers in MW3. You must pick a tier to go down depending on your play style and pick three killstreaks from that tier. The three tiers are Assault (Primary goal is to get more kills from killstreaks), Support (primary goal is to obtain killstreaks that benefit the team), and Specialist (gives you a temporary benefit). When playing in clans, your team will definitely need a few players running the Support Tier to help the team while the other player use the Assault Tier to get air support to aid them. The Support Killstreaks do not reset when you did.

Assault Tier Killstreaks:
3 Kills - UAV
4 Kills – Care Package
5 Kills – IMS – 3 or 4 placeable landmines that cannot be stunned or flashed
5 Kills – Predator Missile
5 Kills – Sentry Gun
6 Kills – Precision Airstrike
7 Kills – Attack Helicopter
9 Kills – Strafe Run – Mini Helicopters which patrol the map
9 Kills – Little Bird Guard (AH-6 Overwatch) – Big Helicopter that follows you from above and protects you
9 Kills – Reaper – Lase missle targets remotely from the Reaper UAV
10 Kills – Assault Drone – Airdrop an Assault Drone
12 Kills – AC130
12 Kills – Pavelow
15 Kills – Juggernaught Suit – Juggernaught armor
17 Kills – Osprey Gunner Cps – You control a chopper gunner that also drops an emergency airdrop for your team mates.

The predator missile is always a good way to get another quick kill that boosts your killstreak. The Little Bird Flock will probably be as dominant as the Harrier in MW2. With several helicopters flying around shooting people the Little Bird is sure to get you a few kills. The AC130 is always destructive in large maps, and both the 15 killstreaks sound dominant depending on your play style.

Support Tier Killstreaks:
4 Kills – UAV
5 Kills – Counter UAV
5 Kills – Ballistic Duffel – Drop Juggernaught perk for the whole team, not jugg suit
5 Kills – Airdrop Trap – Drops a hacked care package
8 Kills – Sam Turret
10 Kills – Recon Drone – Control a Recon Drone and target enemies for your team
12 Kills – Advanced UAV – Blackbird
12 Kills – Remote Turret – Sentry Gun that you can control
14 Kills – Stealth Bomber
18 Kills – EMP
18 Kills – Juggernaught Recon Armour – Care Package Drop Armour
18 Kills – Escort Airdrop – Same as the Osprey Gunner but you dont control the gunner or chopper and Drops 5 care packages, one will be hacked

The Juggernaut Perk for the entire team is a must have. If one team has it and another does not you should always win the fight. The Blackbird was one of my favorite killstreaks form Black Ops because it was the greatest UAV. It got your team tons of kills. The Juggernaut Armor is not as good in this tier as the Escort Airdrop because these killstreaks are supposed to benefit the team while the suit of armor only benefits you. If you are running the Support Tier killstreaks, make sure to use Escort Airdrop over the Juggernaut armor.

Specialist Tier Killstreaks (you have the opportunity to choose the perk each time):
2 Kills – You get 1 extra perk
4 Kills – Get another perk
6 Kills – Get another perk
8 Kills - Unlocks every perk in the game
