Modern Warfare 3 Perks

Since MW3 is coming out in a few months, various game information has been leaked form the past few viewing events (Gamescon... etc). Here are some of the Perks from MW3... the + after the description is the pro ability of that perk:

Tier 1
Extreme Conditioning – Sprint longer distances + Climb obstacles faster (NOTICE: No unlimited sprint)
Sleight Of Hand – Reload faster + Faster weapon swapping
Scavanger – Reload ammo from bags + Spawn with more ammo
Blind Eye – Undetectable from air support + Faster launcher lock on and extra damage to air support
Recon – Explosive damage marks target on HUD + Bullet damage marks target on HUD

So basically the only good perks in Tier 1 are Extreme Conditioning to run around faster and SoH cause snipers need to change weapons faster in close quarters.

Tier 2
Hardline – One less kill for Kill streak + Two assists count as a kill towards next kill streak
Assassin – Immune to UAV, Motion Sensor, Thermal and Heartbeat Sensor + Immune to CUAV & EMP & No red name or crosshairs when targeted
Overkill – Two primary weapons + Second primary can have 2 attachments
Quickdraw – Faster aim down sights + Faster animation of using equipment and throwing grenade
Blastshield – Flack Jacket (Immune to most explosives) + Immune to stuns and flashes

So in Tier 2...Assassin is the most overpowered perk in the game. Hardline is a great new perk that many people can use in order to build a high kill streak. Overkill has a few good uses since it combines the CoD4 perk with MW2's Bling perk to create x2 overpowered primary weapons in Search & Destroy.

Tier 3
Sitrep – Enemy equipment is visible + Enemy footsteps are more clear
Dead Silence – Your footsteps are silent + No fall damage
Stalker – Faster movement with ADS + Delay on claymores
Marksman – ID target from range + Longer hold breath on scoped weapons
Steady Aim – Increased hip fire accuracy + Faster aim down sight while sprinting

In Tier 3... Dead Silence is the new MW2 Ninja. It combines ninja from MW2 with Commando Pro from MW2 making Dead Silence the ultimate runner perk. Steady Aim appears to be like the version of this perk in Black Ops, so it will also be a good perk choice for a runner. Stalker's faster ADS is a must have for players who aim down their sights frequently. Marksman sounds like a interesting perk because it is primarily a sniper perk like scout from Black Ops. The Longer hold breath is always good for snipers, but the ID targeting form ranged sounds very appealing... we will have to wait to see exactly what this means.

As the perks appear right now, the game seems to be more balanced than MW2. There is no Danger Close, One Man Army, Commando Knife Lunging, nor Unlimited Sprinting. The gameplay should still be quite fast, yet more gun-on-gun combat.
