Assault Rifle Classes

M4A1-Great with just a RDS attachment. Must be used with Stopping Power due to its low damage. Most people tend to burn through ammo while using this gun so Scavenger may be a good option, but I prefer Sleight of Hand.

Famas-If used with ACOG Scope, use Sleight of Hand to earn easy headshots with this weapon. RDS is the preferred sight due to its precision and accuracy. The Famas must be used with Stopping Power as well because Sp makes it a 3shot kill compared to a 4-6shot without SP. With SP it will only take one burst to hit the target while without Sp you may need to fire multiple bursts.

Scar-H-The iron sights are very wide and clear, thus a sight is not needed. FMJ is a good option for the attachment or a suppressor. Due to the Scar's high damage, SP is not always necessary, so Cold-Blooded or Hardline can be used with this gun and still be effective. The Scar-H has a small clip, so many prefer using Scavenger to replenish its little ammo capacity.

Tar-21-Extremely powerful gun, yet has some significant recoil. A suppressor is recommended to help reduce some recoil. The gun will need to be bursted at long ranges to fire accurate shots. SP is required if using a suppressor to enhance the damage while reducing recoil. Sleight of Hand or Scavenger are useful blue perks because Scavenger allows you to replenish claymores to guard your blind areas.

FAL-A very powerful weapon that can 2 shot at any range if used with Stopping Power and Holographic Sight. HS increases the accuracy by a ridiculous amount making the gun much more powerful. If you can produce a consistent "trigger finger" on the gun then you will be able to stop the ACR's overpower without a sweat. Use it a while to get used to it, but once you get the hang of it you will be lighting people up with 1-2 shots. Sleight of Hand is nice because of the fast reloading, but I like Bing HS and Suppressor.

M16A4-Apparently, the holographic sight attached to this gun causes the accuracy of the bursts to be deadly. Stopping Power is a necessity on the M16A4 because it makes it a one burst kill. My opinion is that Sleight of Hand on a burst weapon helps because you must aim quicker because you aren't firing full auto.

ACR-Ridiculously accurate assault rife class that is great at Mid-Long Ranges because of its low recoil. Use RDS instead of HS because it is much more accurate when firing long shots. Scavenger is also a suggested perk because the ACR runs out of ammo quickly. Many people online have used Cold-Blooded with the ACR, and it still can kill you in a few bullets.

F2000-Worst assault rifle in the game due to its insane vertical recoil. Only usable at close quarters, and it is very effective at a short distance due to its extremely high rate of rife. Long range is almost not an option unless used in very small bursts. Effective if hip fired while using Steady Aim in small maps.

AK-47-This gun has some vertical recoil, so a suppressor is favored. The AK can kill enemies in only a few shots, so bursting the weapon is very effective. HS or RDS is also favored because the iron sights are not very clear. The AK is one of the most powerful weapons in the game, but most players prefer the ACR over the AK due to its long range capabilities.
